The Murray State track & field team participated in the Chipotle Marshall Invitational over the weekend at the Chris Cline Indoor Athletic Facility at Marshall University in Huntingdon, West Virginia.
This was MSU’s second trip to Marshall and this time they competed with 18 teams from 11 conferences and nine states.
With this meeting being the final one before the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships, Racer coach Jenny Swieton likes where her team is.
“This was a great weekend for us,” she said. “We had some great performances all the way around and with the conference meet coming up on the 24th, we’ve got quite a few that are competing at a high level. J.B. had a great meet in winning the hurdles and taking second in the long jump and we were one-two in the 200 which was pretty cool. Meagan is running well and was third in the 5K.”
