Kentucky State University women’s basketball announced the signing of Montgomery, Illinois native and former NCAA Division I commit, Jordan Campbell on Thursday afternoon.

Campbell, a 6 foot 0 junior forward, previously spent time at both University of Evansville and most recently with Tyler Junior College.

“Jordan (Campbell) will bring size and versatility to our front court,” said head coach Terrance Slater. “Her ability to shoot the ball will help us stretch the defense. We are also going to count on her to rebound and play with high energy on the defensive end.”

As a high school student-athlete at Oswego High School, along with her defensive presence, Campbell averaged 10 points and nine rebounds per game.

Campbell will be enrolled at KSU for the Fall 2017 semester and will have two years of eligibility.
