The 2017 Colonel Club Golf Classic, presented by Kentucky Bank, has been set for Thursday, July 6 at the University Club at Arlington. All are welcome to play in the annual event where all proceeds go to supporting the EKUSports student-athletes.
The format of the event was changed for the 2016 Classic and will remain the same with the two session setup. Registration and breakfast, compliments of Dunkin’ Donuts, will begin at 7 a.m. at the Arlington Mule Barn for the session one participants with an 8:30 shotgun start. Lunch, compliments of Outback Steakhouse, will be between sessions at 12 p.m. Registration for the afternoon session will begin at 12 p.m. with a 2 p.m. shotgun start. Dinner for the later session will begin at 6 p.m. compliments of Raising Cane’s.
The entry deadline is July 3, 2017. The entry fee is $150 per player but new this year is a special rate for golfers under the age of 30. The rate is half price with I.D. or $75 per person. The fee covers 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch, dinner, a golf cart and special golf classic gifts and prizes.
If you cannot play in the event but are looking to further your support we encourage you to purchase a hole sponsorship. For only $250 you will receive a sign at your designated hole to provide exposure for your business/organization to over 175 event participants. The sponsorship also includes one entry into the golf classic with the entrant receiving full participant benefits.
Golf cart sponsorships are also available for only $50 for those choosing not to play and/or would like to enhance their contribution. Your name and/or business will be prominently displayed on one of the carts used during the event.
