Newburg Middle School 8th grader Taeviss Brown is a rising star from the class of 2022 after an impressive start to the 2017-18 basketball season. A starter on the Tiger’s roster Taeviss hopes to lead his team to their first ever state basketball championship title as he continues to handle his business in the classroom, maintaining a 3.8 gpa.
