Stevenson, a native of Houston, Texas has steadily begun to find his place on the KSU roster over the last five games as a scoring threat and efficient rebounder. In two games this past week, he scored 10 points against Salem International University and the University of Illinois Springfield, while pulling down a combined 22 rebounds. It was his performance against UIS where Stevenson showcased his exact contribution with 10 points, and 16 rebounds notching his first -career double-double, but he also added a season-high four blocks protecting the basket.
His performances of late have made him the fifth-leading scorer on the team at a little over seven points a game while ranking second in total rebounds with 58 and leading the team in blocks with 10.
KSU will head to Atlanta for a two-game road trip on Saturday and Monday with contests at Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University.
