The Murray State rifle team will begin the second half of their 2017-18 season fourth in the nation, according to the latest CRCA Top 20 rankings released Tuesday.
The top five was unchanged from the last poll of 2017 with West Virginia at one, TCU at two, Kentucky at three, the Racers at four and Alaska at five. The only change in the poll were Nebraska moving to eighth and North Carolina State rising to 11th.
Murray State will see its first action of 2018 this weekend when it hosts the annual Roger Withrow Open at the Pat Spurgin Rifle Range.
