🏀 Will Louisville Cardinals MBB Make It 4 Straight Over Boston College?

The Louisville men’s basketball team will begin their two-game road swing this week on Wednesday, January 25th, at 9 p.m. ET, against Boston College. The game will be aired on the ACC Network. The Cardinals are currently 2-17 and 0-8 in the ACC, while the Eagles are 9-11 and 3-6 in the ACC.

Louisville has a strong record against Boston College, with a 10-4 all-time record, including 4-2 on the road. The Cardinals have also won nine of the last ten meetings in the series, and three straight.

Freshman forward/center Emmanuel Okorafor was recently added to the roster and is eligible to play immediately. Over the last five games, redshirt freshman guard/forward Mike James has been averaging 14.6 points and 3.4 rebounds while shooting 43% from the field and 46% from the 3-point line. In the first 14 games of the season, James averaged just 6.9 points while shooting 44% overall and 31% from 3-point range.

Senior guard El Ellis has also been performing well, averaging 19.8 points, 5.8 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.9 steals over the last ten games. Ellis is currently one of 20 players in the nation with at least 330 points and 85 assists this season.

Sophomore forward Brandon Huntley-Hatfield is currently out with a foot injury and leads the team with 6.0 rebounds per game and is averaging 7.5 points per contest.

Louisville has also been strong at getting to the free-throw line, shooting at least 20 free throws in eight of the last ten games and over that span has shot 40 more total free throws than its opponents.
