Bam Adebayo and Anthony Davis, both distinguished alumni of Kentucky men’s basketball, received prestigious honors as they were named to the NBA’s All-Defense First Team for the 2023-24 season, the league announced on Tuesday.

Adebayo, known for his defensive prowess, earned his first-ever spot on the All-Defense First Team after being recognized on the second team for the past four seasons. Anthony Davis, a seasoned veteran in his 12th NBA season, secured his place on the All-Defense First Team for the third time in his career. With an average of 12.6 rebounds per game, including 9.5 defensive rebounds, Davis played a pivotal role in anchoring the Los Angeles Lakers’ defense.
