The Cooper High School Jaguars boys’ basketball team made a strong showing at the 2025 KHSAA Sweet 16 State Tournament at Rupp Arena, and senior guard/forward Andy Johnson was a key factor in their success. The Illinois-Chicago commit, known for his scoring prowess and defensive tenacity, averaging 22 points and 6 rebounds a game, delivered standout performances, earning a spot on the All-Tournament team. Johnson’s contributions, both offensively and defensively, underscored his importance to a Cooper squad that finished the season with a 24-6 record and a perfect 15-0 mark in the 9th Region.
