Isaac Brown, the Louisville Cardinals running back and Miami native, made a huge statement by winning ACC Back of the Week for the fifth time in his young career. In Louisville’s dominant 51-17 season-opening win over Eastern Kentucky, Brown rushed just six times but exploded for 126 yards and two touchdowns, averaging an incredible 21 yards per carry with long touchdown runs of 31 and 68 yards.
His impressive start comes after an outstanding freshman season where he became Louisville’s first true freshman to rush over 1,000 yards, finishing with more than 1,500 all-purpose yards and 12 total touchdowns. Brown also earned Freshman All-American honors and ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year. Already an ACC preseason all-team member, Brown is clearly a dynamic, game-changing player and a key weapon for Louisville heading into the 2025 season.
Expect him to keep lighting it up and making big plays for the Cards all year long.
