Ateny anchored the paint all season long for the Warriors, acting as a walking double-double machine. He dominated the competition, averaging a massive 18.3 points and 9.8 rebounds per game! He helped lead a tight-knit DCA program representing a high school of just 83 students, all the way to the state’s biggest stage at Rupp Arena.
In Danville Christian’s grueling Sweet 16 battle against a loaded Great Crossing squad, #15 proved exactly why he’s a matchup nightmare. Refusing to come off the floor, he played all 32 minutes and put together an incredible two-way performance:
