If you gave Butler’s senior guard Adrian Wilder an inch of space from beyond the arc this season, it was already too late! 🐻🔥
24 was the ultimate offensive weapon for the Bears all year long, leading the team with 14.6 points per game and racking up 467 total points. He was an absolute sniper from deep, draining a massive 89 three-pointers before even stepping foot in Rupp Arena.
When the bright lights of the Sweet 16 turned on, Wilder took his shooting to another level. In Butler’s opening-round 54-39 victory over Hazard, he dropped a team-high 18 points and pulled down 7 rebounds, catching absolute fire to shoot 5-for-9 from three-point range.
He stayed locked in during a hard-fought quarterfinal battle against North Oldham. Even in a tough loss, Wilder was hyper-efficient, scoring 12 points and shooting a blistering 3-for-4 from deep.
Wilder finished his incredible Rupp Arena run shooting an elite 61.5% from three (8-for-13) over two games! His stellar play on the state’s biggest stage earned him a highly deserved spot on the 2026 KHSAA Sweet 16 All-Tournament Team. 🏆
