If you want to see what an elite Division 1 prospect looks like under pressure, look no further than North Laurel’s 6’7” senior forward, Reece Davidson! 🐆🔥
Wearing #30, Davidson was a dominant force for the Jaguars all season long, scoring nearly 20 points a game and controlling the paint to pull down 8.6 rebounds a game. He shot 72% from the free-throw line on the year.
When it was time to step onto the floor at Rupp Arena at the state tournament, he showed exactly why he was a Kentucky Mr. Basketball finalist. In North Laurel’s 52-38 opening-round victory over Warren Central, Davidson dropped a game-high 20 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and was absolutely perfect with his jumper, shooting 3-for-3 from three-point range and 5-for-5 from the charity stripe! 🎯
In the quarterfinals against a loaded St. Xavier team, he battled through intense, physical defense to put up a team-high 15 points and 3 assists, keeping the Jaguars fighting until the very last possession.
Averaging 17.5 points per game on the state’s biggest stage, he earned a spot on the 2026 All-Tournament Team! 🏆
Making it to the Sweet 16 once is a dream. Reece did it three times. Freshman, Junior, and Senior years, Reece was a fixture on the state’s biggest stage, leading the Jaguars with poise and dominance.
Considered a three-star prospect Reece officially signed with Liberty and chose the Flames over other offers including Western Kentucky, Tennessee Tech, and Miami Ohio.
