UK Softball Alters Weekend Schedule, DH to be Played Friday

Due to expected inclement weather entering the south, the Kentucky softball team has altered its weekend schedule, as the Wildcats will now play Middle Tennessee State in a doubleheader on Friday, April 6.

Game one will begin at 3 p.m. ET, with game two following approximately 30 minutes after. Both games will still be shown live on the SEC Network+, ESPN3 and the ESPN app with Dave Baker and former Virginia Tech standout Dorian Craft on the call from John Cropp Stadium.

There will be no games played on Saturday, as originally scheduled.

Tickets to Saturday’s game may be used for both games on Friday. If fans have reserved tickets for Saturday, those will be valid for the first game on Friday and fans may remain in the game in the general admission areas for the second game, following 30 minutes after.

Tickets for the originally-scheduled Friday game will be valid for both games. If fans have reserved tickets for Friday, those will be valid for the second game on Friday and may access the general admission areas for the first game.

The stadium will not be cleared in-between games.
