[wpvideo VNkrXVEC]A video of some of the highlights for Marquis Johnson (#14) a cornerback, safety and wide receiver, and special teams player for the Taylor County Cardinals football team during his senior year in which he became a defensive standout. Under the watchful eye of Coach Eric Graves and the Cardinal coaching staff “Quis” developed into a relentless defender in the secondary who significantly improved his play and skill level from the previous year, and was difficult to throw against, knocking down throws and picking off a number of passes in the season. Producing a number of stellar defensive games, he got a game high 7 tackles, with most of them being open field in a game against Lexington Catholic, one of the toughest opponents in the state. Marquis played little league football for one year and high school football for three years. After he graduates in May 2013 he hopes to play college football and pursue a career in video game design.
