Saturday evening the Kentucky Wildcats Play for history and go undefeated in the regular season. 31-0 yes 31 straight games where there have been blowouts, dog fights, and with the biggest fan base in the world (the BBN) anxiously waiting the outcome of each game.
A few keys to the success of the Wildcats has been the mix of the “platoon” system and the swagger of their coach.
ESPN is making a circus out of every game and Coach Cal and Karl Town’s photobomb the Cats look like there’s no pressure to win.
The last SEC matchup won’t be easy. Billy Donovan and his Florida Gators almost clipped the Wildcats at the O-Dome a few weeks ago. The Cats survived and got a 2 point W. With a scrappy full court press and a switch up zone Donovan had a great game plan to confuse the young cats.
The talented group figured out the zone after a few tough possessions and being down yo the Gators early. Just like every other game this year the Cats Defense and play from their bigs kept their record unblemished. Especially Mr. Willie Cauley Stein with his amazing dunks, one which is tops on Sportscenter.
Theres no doubt Florida is down this year but after going 0-3 last year against the Gators you can bet the Cats want to win big at home probably with one of the biggest crowds in Rupp Arena’s history!
