Ben Howland and the Miss State Bulldogs landed an elite recruit Friday, when Malik Newman announced his committment to the Bulldogs.
Newman, who’s 6’3″ is a scorer. he’s a versatile guard who can be slotted at the point but plays his game at the two spot. Newman can get his shot when he wants it. He’s not the most athletic Guard but adjusts his offensive attack at the rim well. Newman is a beast off the bounce and is a tough shot maker.
Miss State now has one of the best guards in the country. Will it make kids want to play at Miss State?
I doubt it but I think he brings more wins to the program and wins ultimately brings recruits.
