Strengths: Good spot up shooter from 3. Great of the bounce Has nice mid range game. Uses glass well from block to 6-8 foot. Has a nice floater. Utilizes the euro step well. Southpaw who is a slasher but can hit a pull up jumper or blow by you and get to the rim.
Great rebounder for his size. He uses his toughness and height to get the rebound and is excellent at locating the ball off the rim and grabbing at the highest point. Great defensive rebounder.Won team defensive rebounder of the year.
Averaged 9.7 points per game.5.2 RPG JR season. Shot 43% from the floor. 70% from the FT line. Gets to the line 2.0 times a game. Very efficient with a nice basketball IQ.
Was averaging 11 on a solid team until injury but picked right back up. 1st team all region as sophomore.
Very nice shooting stroke. From distance as well as inside the arc.
Brandon has a nice first step and is very athletic. He’s unselfish, takes what the defense gives and finishes great around the bucket. Brandon runs the break well and uses his body to shield the defender to finish in transition. Brandon also avoids contact well when attacking the rim.
Would like to see him get stronger, use more ball fakes and jab steps.
Needs to work on ball handling, screening, and work on footwork. Like to see him add some bulk to his frame. Another 10-15 pounds of muscle this off season. Need a little work on his vision, passing, and using his right hand as well as going to his right more often.
Predictions: solid D2/ NAIA player Brandon will be a vital part of Bullitt East’s 2015-16 run.
