2014-15 averages 11.4 ppg 6.0 rbds FT% 62 FG % 59.7 No assist stats per HS

Strengths: Excellent footwork, hands, touch, and vision. Very efficient. Great outlet passer.

Great inside touch scoring and passing. Keeps ball up and doesn’t bring it down. Excellent ball fakes that moves defense to get teammates open or get his shot.

Finishes tough with both hands. Great first step for a big and excellent passer. Gets out on break well and his spacing is great. His basketball IQ is very high.

Has great post moves and his best is over left shoulder with a right hand hook/floater but his footwork allows him to utilize many post moves. Nice up and under. Has a nice mid range jumper and shoots with confidence. Doesn’t force shots and takes what the defense gives him. Very efficient and 60% FG says a lot to that effect.

Great team player. Great attitude and gives 100% on every play. Not afraid of taller/bigger opponents. Size doesn’t seem to effect his play. Uses great fundamentals to offset his size.

FT stroke looks great and has improved from HS season. Can’t express how he facilitates but can score when his team needs a bucket. and his AAU’s offense runs well through his hands.

Gets great position on the block as well as sets effective screens. Would like to see him develop a more pick and pop or roll to the basket. I think he would excel in a double high post play/offense.

Great big against a zone. He can come to the FT stripe and take the shot and also use his vision to swing the ball to an open teammate.

On defense he played in the middle of a 2-3 zone and held his own. He doesn’t block many shots but is excellent at knowing when to help or stay home and box out.

Needs to work on rebounding, needs to get stronger and tougher for next level, as well as conditioning under. Needs to work on 15 foot + jumper.

Great overall player and I expect his numbers to rise his senior year at Bullitt East.

Prediction: Jared is a D2 player without a doubt but with improvement he could reach a low/mid D1 school.
