Thomas More’s Damion King Repeats as PAC Player of the Week

Thomas More College sophomore guard Damion King (Winchester, Ky./George Rogers Clark) has been named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second straight week by the PAC office.

King helped lead the Saints to a pair of wins last week, which clinched a share of the program’s third PAC regular season title. He averaged 19.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2.0 steals during the two-game stretch, which included a 25-point, nine-assist, seven-rebound effort in last Wednesday’s 87-78 home win over Saint Vincent College.

King and the Saints are the second-seed in this week’s PAC Championship Tournament and will host seventh-seed Geneva College in the quarterfinals on Tuesday (February 21) at the Connor Convocation Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
