Devon Cooper Commits to Morehead State

This afternoon, Louisville Waggener guard, Devon Cooper, verbally committed to Morehead State University.

Cooper was the subject of much discussion this past season as he transferred back to Waggener High School from Findlay Prep (NV). The 6’3 Cooper played for the Waggener Wildcats as a freshman and sophomore before transferring to Findlay for his junior season. Upon returning to Kentucky for his senior season, he was ruled ineligible by the KHSAA and missed 19 of Waggener’s 31 games.

Devon Cooper did play in 12 games and averaged 21 points per game while leading Waggener to the 7th region tournament.
