Skyelar Potter receives 1st Division One Offer

Warren Central Dragons star junior, Skyelar Potter, received his first division one offer today from Lipscomb University. Potter, a 6’4 guard, averaged 20.2 points per game this past season helping lead the Dragons to a 17-14 record.

Potter won’t be the first dragon this decade to go to a division one school. In 2010, Warren Central seen three Dragons attend division one schools off their state quarter-finalist team: Jordan Shanklin – IUPUI, Spence Sheldon – Western Kentucky, and current Seattle Seahawk left tackle George Fant played basketball for the WKU Hilltoppers as well. More recently Chris Porter-Bunton & Jared Savage are Dragon alumni and both playing for Austin Peay.

With Potter returning for his senior season in 2017-2018 the Dragons look to end Bowling Green’s four year run atop the 4th region and make a return trip to Rupp Arena. Potter will be pre-season the number one rated senior in the region. Here is Potter’s mix from his sophomore season in 2015-2016.
