UK WTEN’s Morgan Chumney Selected to 2017 SEC Community Service Team

Kentucky senior Morgan Chumney has been named to the 2017 Southeastern Conference Women’s Tennis Community Service Team the league office announced Tuesday afternoon. Each year, the Community Service Team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.

Chumney has been extremely active in the community this season, including volunteer work with Cats Cultivating Character, God’s Pantry, UK Athletics BackPack Program, Louisiana Flood Relief Drive and Breakfast with Santa. This past summer, she was also a member of the Kentucky contingent to travel to Ethiopia. The 10-day service trip focuses on working and interacting within the community.
