Lauren Boblitt came off the bench for a team-high 15 points as Georgetown College women’s basketball battled No. 8 Thomas More University Monday. The sophomore fought through an early injury to score 10 points in the second half, including two threes.
However, the Saints (11-0, 6-0) took control of the game mid-way through the third quarter and held on for a 73-61 win. The two will square off again Saturday, but before that the Tigers (1-4, 0-3) travel to No. 7 Shawnee State University Thursday.
