Louisville Cardinals WBB Lose By Overtime Buzzer Beater at #10 Notre Dame

The Louisville Cardinals women’s basketball team suffered a heartbreaking 78-76 loss on the road tonite to the #10 Notre Dame Fighting Irish in South Bend, Indiana. The game was a nail-biter, going into overtime and ending with a last-second buzzer-beater by Notre Dame’s Olivia Miles.

Nia Harris scored 4 points on 2-5 shooting and had 3 rebounds in 13 minutes of play. Mykasa Robinson scored 9 points on 2-6 shooting, including 5-6 from the free throw line, and also contributed 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals in 45 minutes of play.

Olivia Miles had a team-high 18 points on 6-15 shooting, including 1-2 from three-point range, and made all 5 of her free throw attempts. She also had an impressive 11 rebounds, 9 assists, 6 turnovers, and 3 steals in 43 minutes of play. Sophia Citron contributed 15 points on 6-18 shooting, including 3-8 from beyond the arc. She had 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 turnovers, and no personal fouls in 44 minutes of play. Kaitlyn Bransford scored 10 points on 3-4 shooting, all from the free throw line. She also had 2 rebounds, 2 fouls, and 4 turnovers in 22 minutes of play.
