Murray State Softball’s Gracie Osbron Has Walk-Off Homer in 1-0 Victory vs Belmont

Murray State softball triumphed in game three against Belmont when Gracie Osbron hit a walk-off home run, putting the Racers up 1-0 in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Throughout the six innings, the Racers and Bruins remained deadlocked, neither team giving up any ground. Bre Haislip pitched six hitless innings before Hannah James stepped in at the top of the sixth inning. James displayed her prowess, striking out three of the seven batters she faced.

The game saw only three total hits, with two of them credited to Osbron. James claimed the win, advancing her record to 14-6. With this victory, the Racers extend their all-time series lead against Belmont to 29-4. MSU has won the last five meetings, and Murray secured the previous three with walk-offs.

Next, the Racers will head out on their final road series against Southern Illinois, with games scheduled from Friday to Sunday.
