Louisville Football Center Bryan Hudson Named to Preseason All-ACC Team

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) has announced that Bryan Hudson, the center for the University of Louisville’s football team, has been named to the 2023 Preseason All-ACC Football Team. The selection was made by a panel of 176 media members who had been credentialed for last week’s ACC Football Kickoff event in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Hudson, a Georgetown, Kentucky native, is entering his senior season with the Cardinals, having made significant contributions to the team’s offensive success last year. He started in all 13 games, playing a pivotal role in guiding the UofL offense to an average of 201.0 yards per game on the ground. This impressive statistic saw the team ranked 23rd nationally.

During his tenure at UofL, Hudson consistently demonstrated his skill and stamina on the field, playing a notable 852 snaps last season. His performance has been highly lauded, with him earning the highest performance grade on the offensive line.

Before joining the Cardinals, Hudson showcased his abilities at Virginia Tech, and his transfer to UofL has significantly bolstered the team’s offensive prowess. This isn’t the first recognition of Hudson’s talent; he was previously named a preseason first-team All-ACC choice by football analyst Phil Steele. More recently, he was added to the prestigious Outland Trophy Watch List, further highlighting his contributions to college football and elevating his position among the country’s top offensive linemen.

Hudson’s recognition on the Preseason All-ACC Team underscores his central role on the UofL team and the high expectations for his performance in the upcoming season. As the Cardinals prepare for their 2023 season, Hudson’s leadership and skill will undoubtedly be pivotal in their quest for a successful year.
