Nikodem Dworczak secured a berth to the nationals on the first day of the NCAA East First Rounds on Wednesday at the UK Outdoor Track & Field Complex. Dworczak posted an impressive 10,000-meter time of 29:17.19, finishing in seventh place to advance.
In other events, Jan Badia finished 35th in the 1,500 meters with a time of 3:46.59, outperforming his East Region seeding by 13 spots. Unfortunately, Mohammed Jouhari did not complete the 10,000-meter race.
