Before the Sweet 16, Lyon County junior Nolan Coffman was already putting together an absolute monster of a season! He was a matchup nightmare all year long, racking up 640 total points and averaging a massive 17.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game. If that wasn’t enough, he was also shooting a blistering 41.5% from beyond the arc!
Then, when the Lions needed him on the state’s biggest stage against a tough North Oldham squad, #22 answered the call. Going head-to-head with a stifling defense, he put on a masterclass and stuffed the stat sheet across the board. He led his team with a game-high 21 points while shooting over 53% from the floor, and he was an absolute menace everywhere else, recording 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks!
This incredible Rupp Arena performance was the perfect cap to a tremendous junior campaign where he helped lead the program to an All “A” state championship. 🏆🦁
With an incredibly talented senior class graduating, Coffman is ready to take the reins and step into an even bigger leadership role for his senior season. Lyon County is going to be dangerous AGAIN next year! 💯
