Great Crossing’s sophomore standout Brady Orem is one of the most dominant young big men in the state hands down! 🦅🔥
34 was an absolute force in the paint all season long for the Warhawks. He put up monstrous numbers, officially averaging 21.6 points and 9.5 rebounds per game! He racked up a massive 777 total points and 342 rebounds on the year, proving to be a walking double-double every time he stepped on the floor.
When the bright lights of Rupp Arena turned on for the Sweet 16, Orem didn’t flinch. In Great Crossing’s opening-round 57-47 victory over Danville Christian, he played all 32 minutes and showcased his incredible inside-out versatility, dropping a game-high 19 points (including a pair of 3-pointers), grabbing 7 rebounds, and protecting the rim with 3 blocks!
He proved it was no fluke in the quarterfinals against a tough Grayson County squad. Even in a hard-fought 58-50 loss, he refused to back down, staying on the floor for nearly 32 minutes to back up his first performance with another massive 19-point, 6-rebound, 2-block masterclass!
Thanks to his relentless paint presence and elite back-to-back performances, Orem earned a well-deserved spot on the 2026 KHSAA Sweet 16 All-Tournament Team! 🏆
Brady Orem’s upside looks huge and with two more years left in his high school career, being a candidate for Kentucky Mr Basketball would not be a surprise. 💯
